TLC Certification Company:
What is child labor monitoring?
ILO Guidelines define Child Labor Monitoring as “One of the most potent means of addressing child labor is to regularly check the places where girls and boys may be working. Child labor monitoring (CLM) is the active process that ensures that such observation is put in place and is coordinated in an appropriate manner. Its overall objective is to ensure that as a consequence of monitoring children and young legally employed workers are safe from exploitation and hazards at work”.
Economic disparity and hardship snares young children to leave their basic education opportunities and start working. They are frequently exposed to exploitation and servitude.
TLC Certification is a part of the global movement to discourage, eradicate and cease the exploitation of child labors in all industry.
Our mission is simply to ensure that there is absolutely no child labour in the manufacturing of any of your rugs.
